SMORR Froze Over....NOT!

SMORR was a little chilly, but definitely not Froze Over. It was muddy, slick, and an absolute BLAST! Four of us made the trip to SMORR for the event.

Rick, Jeff, Dwight, and myself left the Jane Walmart at 7:50 and arrived in SMOOR around 11. The event was very well attended, lots of rigs, lots of BIG BUGGIES. We grabbed a quick bite and headed for the trails.

The guys asked me to lead and while I am not overly familiar with SMORR, with the reasonably accurate maps and signage and Sophie my trail buddy at my side, we dove in. We figured out right away that the trails were MUDDY and SLICK.  more>

Zebra Land Cruiser Report

I just returned from another trip to Ethiopia partnering with our indigenous brothers and sisters for the sake of the gospel. We held a Bible Conference, helped to construct a building for our childcare project, witnessed a river baptism, visited the sick and hurting, and proclaimed the gospel. We had the joy of seeing our mighty God at work building His church. In this article I would like to share about one day we had trekking across remote mountains to visit two villages where new church plants have begun.

It was Monday (January 30th) and 18 of us loaded up in two Toyota Land Cruisers with all our camping gear on top. The streets outside of our guesthouse ...more>

Product Review

Back in November we met Tim with------- at the 2011 SEMA show in Las Vegas. After talking with Tim for a few short minutes he showed us one of the best iPad cases I have seen to date. The inCarBite is a hard plastic case with a headrest car mount, retractable kickstand, under the cabinet kitchen mount and a desktop mount. Some of the different mounting options also are charging stations. I have been using one of the standard non charging cases for the past few months in all sort of different situations. The head rest bracket is easy to attach and ... more>

Lazer Star introduces new LED light bar series

Recently I met Laura Zolnoski of Access Publishing while on our excursion at SEMA. Laura and her team work with product promotion for companies. SHe just recently contacted me with information about Lazer Star LED lighting.

Now I know that sometimes on the trail at night you have yearned to be able to see the trail just a little bit better. I know that I have often hoped THAT what I I thought I was seeing in front of me was really what was there. Just recently I installed a new set of LED lights on my wife's DragonFly buggy just to light up her world.

She has often deferred the driving duties to myself or others after the sun has set, just because it was not enjoyable to drive off that ledge and not really know what was below. I expect that we will be finding her sitting in the drivers seat more often in the twilight hours now.

Laura has sent us a press release for Lazer Star Lighting. Check it out>
