Wheelers for the Wounded

This year brought about another great turn out at the 2012 Wheelers Four The Wounded event in Disney, Ok.

Again this year, Okjeepthing, Extreme 4 Wheelin and Tulsa Offroad all teamed up to host the 4th Annual "Wheelers for the Wounded" in Disney on  9/22/12-9/23/12. 

They had guided trail runs, food and a large raffle.  And all of the proceeds went to charities.

This event is growing every year and has already become one of the premier events held at the Disney area.  More>

Product Review - Safari Straps

Ever since I became familiar with Safari Straps through their sponsorship of our annual National Fundraiser, I have hoped to have a set for my Jeep one day.   When I first started modding my 07 JK, Tough Love, I purchased a set of straps from another company.  They were pretty expensive (for my budget anyway), and looked pretty good, but I just never had a real sense that they would keep much in my vehicle if things went wrong.

45th annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000

LOS ANGELES—Veteran Arizona desert racer Pete Sohren has received the first starting position during Saturday’s live drawing at the Off-Road Expo for November’s 45th running of the legendary Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race. GOPRO CAMERA TESTING CONTINUES

So just how TOUGH is this camera that they call “GoPro”?  Well we don’t know the breaking point yet, but we do know what it can take.  This past month we attended the Wheelers For the Wounded event in Disney, Ok.  After several hours of hitting the trails and rock obstacles we returned to the event headquarters for lunch.

The discussion around the table was everyone wanting to see some action on the unconquered Bounty Hill.  As the plates were emptied Brad Austin announced that he would take the BradFab buggy and put it to the test.
