Louisiana Visits Oklahoma

A group of 6 friends representing 2 Jeep clubs in Louisiana loaded up and headed to Oklahoma the weekend of August 16-18 with their pockets full and their hearts wide open. Over the past few weeks the Louisiana Jeepers and the Cajun Jeepers Crue' have put on events, held fundraisers, auctioned off items and whatever they could come up with to help out the Oklahoma tornado victims. They ended up with storage buildings full of donated items and over $7000 in cash.

So What the Word on 2013 Crawl 4 Christ?

In the past, our big goals for the annual C4C involved wheeling – especially the places we had never been, like SMORR and Moab.  This year was a little different for us because our Jeep has been on axle stands for a few months getting a rebuild.  We had the choice to just skip C4C since we didn’t have a rig, but both Eric and I knew we absolutely could not miss this one…after all, we finally had a good group out of our club that was able to attend!  We definitely wanted to be able to be there for their first C4C.  In addition, it’s our once a year chance to see the Austins, Penicks, and the other friends we have made at prior events…at least, our only chance outside of Facebook!
