Jeeptoberfest is one of the largest Jeep Only events in the Southeast.  The annual fundraiser event of the Ocala Jeep Club will be held Oct. 18-19 at the Market of Marion, 12888 SE U.S. 441, Belleview. This year celebrated 17 years. This past month, by popular demand Red Dirt Jeeps held a Learning Day for the totally new and less experienced off roaders.  The event would be held at a fairly new Off Road Park in Oklahoma called Arbuckle Off-Road Park.  So we figured the park and the drivers could both learn together.

While attending the first Ozark Overland Rally held at Byrd's Adventure Center in March of 2014 I was approached by the owner to see if the Christian Crawlers 4x4 Club might be interested in helping with the first Jeep Jamboree to be held there on November 13th - 15th.  Several of us had never been to a Jeep Jamboree and thought this would be a good opportunity to attend.

Yep!! at Red Dirt Jeeps it is all about FAMILY.  So RDJ scheduled the Punkin Palooza this past month out at Oklahoma Lake to get another great family outing in while the weather was still nice.  And nice it was.  Who would have thought that the kids would be playing in the Lake in October.

Dallas / Ft. Worth 4x4 Chapter

Dean Cline (dacjeep on our forum) contacted the Christian Crawlers 4x4 Club , located in NW Arkansas, back in September with an interest in starting a club chapter in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This was presented to our club members at our October meeting and was approved unanimously. Dean is a veteran off-roader and has been active in the Lone Star Jeep Club for many years. We look forward to helping our newest chapter grow in any way we can.
