Well, we are back in the saddle again. What a GREAT time we had at the Long John's Big Meat Run at Disney, Ok. And believe me there was nothing "Mickey Mouse" about this run. (Sorry, couldn't help it.) But now it is time to get the rigs put back in the shop and cleaned up and ready for the next trip. Should have about a month before we loaded them back up again. In the mean time we gotta get busy on Nana's build.

I have sent editor Mike Troy enough pictures and stories to keep him busy up until the new release so you won't want to miss the next issue coming up. We will have coverage of the Big Meat Run, an continuation of the Good, Bad and the Ugly and a progress report on the Nana's goin Big project rig.

The Big Meat Run was loaded with action so you won't want to miss it, so don't get too far away from your puter.

RESTING SURE IS HARD WORK

For the last 2 days and continuing on for the next couple of weeks, the every-evening hard grind of getting stuff ready for a couple of days of rest has begun. We will be going to the Big Meat run in Disney, Ok on March 17-18th. These weekend outings always involve about 3 weeks worth of work. There are always a thousand things that need to be done to the camper and then all the Jeeps have to be gone over and checked out. All of the tools that I have so carefully cleaned and well organized in the shop (this is a joke on the tools, if you ever seen my shop) have to be removed from their designated location and packed away in tool boxes for the trip. All the camping and cooking stuff has to be checked and packed. The food has to be organized. We have started cheating on the food some by pre-cooking and freezing-up the pulled pork for sandwiches. Then all the coolers have to be cleaned and packed. Now don't forget to load up the extra parts and all the extra fluids, just in case. Someone always needs the fluids.

Oh yes!! Remember to check the tires and bearings on the trailer and the tires and fluids on the truck. Better get the sleeping bags out before I forget them. And I need new batteries for the flashlights. I should wash the camper and gotta get that vent fixed. Don't forget the fire ring and do we need propane for the cooker? Still need to replace the floor pan that covers the tranny in the Jeep from the last trip when I had to pull the shifter. Now go fuel the truck so I won't have to do that on the way out and did I remember to feed the dog?. Oh yeah, got to make arrangements to take him to the kennel while we are gone. Big trash day is Monday, sure need to clean some stuff out of the garage and the barn. And, the shop van broke down, have to get that fixed before anything else.

I don't know how, but it will all get done. We will have a great time and then its over.

Then for the next week its cleaning and unpacking the camping stuff, fixing the Jeeps, and putting stuff up. Gotta Love it.

But the time spent with friends and family and in the great outdoors, doing what we love, and sharing the wonderful outdoors that God has allowed us to enjoy will make us do it all over again the next time.

OH!!!!! I love this sport!

So until next time, I gotta go. Lots of things to do.

God Bless You and Yours
