
We custom made mounts for the new aluminum fuel tank that we had just gotten in from C.O.R.E. The fuel tank was to be mounted right behind the cab of the Jeep. An extra piece of tubing was welded onto the 2 outside tubes to provide the mounting points. Since the side tubing for the rear of the Jeep climbs slightly as it moves toward the rear of the Jeep, some spacers had to be made for the front of the fuel tank to mount to. Then, holes were drilled into the cross tubing and nuts were welded into that tubing and the spacers, and then worked down smooth. Then, grade 8 bolts will be used to bolt through the brackets of the tank into the nuts in the tubing. There now, that ought to keep Nana all Gassed up………
