You know those cool clothes that you see folks wearing, the ones with the logo of your favorite 4WD product or manufacturer on them? Did you feel left out in your plain, brown wrapper of un-cool duds with no nifty logo on them?
Well, if Skyjacker has anything to say about it, fans of their brand can find that coolness is only a few clicks of a mouse away. Let us step into the Skyjacker Store and go shopping, shall we? We sampled a selection of jackets, stickers, and hats to try on trail and around town and we have been wearing them ever since. We talked Feature Editor Michael Troy's lovely wife and handsome son into modeling for us.
They are wearing the Rock Ready Jacket, the Skyjacker Corporate Jacket, and the Rock Ready Bucket Hat.
Skyjacker Rock Ready Clothing: Bling for the Body!
By the staff of C4x4
The Rock Ready Jacket pictured above is really too fancy to crawl under a greasy, broken Jeep in, which is just the kind of thing that might happen on a trail ride, but it is really keen for after-wheelin' wear or just for cruising the rig around town on a cool day. The collar holds a hidden hood and the Rock Ready logo is stitched into the back panel. Very nice. This is really a sharp looking piece of clothing and is more of a heavy windbreaker or light jacket than winter Colorado wear.
The Skyjacker Corporate Jacket is a bit lighter weight and a darker color but still has a wind flap behind the zipper and a high collar with a drawstring for warmth. This is a good shell and is about right to toss into the back seat of a 4x4 for for the cooler times of the day.
The Bucket Hat has to be my favorite. It saved my hide in Moab where it was both warmth and sun shade for hours of wheelin' fun. The inner brim is lined and the drawstring will keep it firmly placed on your head even when you are riding with a crazy Okie racing up Potato Salad Hill. What more could you ask?
Besides jackets and such, there is a wide assortment of goodies including decals to fill up your virtual shopping cart on the Skyjacker website. So click away, be "True To Your School" and fly your colors proudly.
