Never heard of the Thunder Mare (named by my grand daughter Riley)? Well, that’s because she came to be within the last week before the Big Meat Run. When Matt seen that his buggy would not make the show he rolled a 97 TJ into the shop that his girl friend Jenny had just purchased as a project. The 97 TJ had been hit in the real end and smashed up. Brad and Matt decided that they would do a quick one week project to put together some wheels for Matt and Jenny to wheel at the Big Meat Run.
Out came the sawzaw and off came the rear of the tub. The front fenders were sanded and painted, a roll bar and back half cage was bent and installed, the old exhaust was cut off and a flow master muffler was welded on and the rear diff was welded to provide traction for the powerful 4 banger engine. Then to top of the Wonder Mare we can’t forget some graphics so the flames are added to the beast.

Is it a top notch wheelin rig? Not yet, but many more changes will come over the next few months, but it made a very capable trail rig to get around the rocks and trails of Disney. The Thunder Mare was ridden right through the test track of Little Blue once by Matt and once by Jenny and left several much more mature wheelin rigs and drivers shakin their heads as she snorted and pawed her way through the off camber and wet, slick rocks of Disney.

No!!!! Big Yeller didn’t get any bling for the Big Meat Run, but don’t feel sorry for her. There are some very cool ideas in the works that will be revealed at the Crawl For Christ run at the SuperLift RV park at Hot Springs, AR. this summer. Be sure to stop in and check out what she gets rewarded with.
Thanks to Matt and Jenny from Austin’s Signs and Graphics for their hard work during the proceeding week and the really cool graphics that they produced. We really enjoyed them making the trip.
Until Later……Keep the wheels spinning so the mud won’t build up in your Boggers….
God Bless You and Yours.
